Design iconico
Marcel Breuer has been experimenting with steel tube for years, while developing his cantilever chairs. As part of this process, he designed a set of stools, which were used as tables later or the famous laccio table. As a Bauhaus apprentice in 1925, Marcel Breuer conceptualized the low table as a companion to the Wassily chair, the first tubular steel design based on the tubed frame of a bicycle.
